Jillian Borchard, M.S. is a clinical herbalist practicing in Owings Mills and Columbia, Maryland. Jillian founded her herbal practice, Greenspring Herbs, upon the completion of her Masters of Science in Herbal Medicine degree from Tai Sophia Institute, the first graduate program in herbal medicine in the United States. Prior to her studies at Tai Sophia Institute, Jillian received certificates from the California School of Herbal Studies in Roots of Herbalism, Foundations of Health, and Clinical Herbalism. Jillian is a member of organizations including United Plant Savers, American Botanical Council, Heartwood, American Holistic Health Association (AHHA) and Wellness Entrepreneurs Link (WEL).
Her work is informed by both her commitment to people’s health and her commitment to the health of the planet. The two are not separate, and in fact, are completely dependent on one another.
